The Three Lakes 10 km race starts at Crno Jezero, one of the most recognizable natural landmarks of Durmitor. The opening section follows approximately 700 meters of asphalt road before turning toward the Otok seasonal stream and looping back toward Crno Jezero.
The route then continues around the shoreline of the Great Lake, where it briefly shares the atmosphere and terrain of the longer race courses. After leaving the lake area, runners enter the forest and continue toward Zminje Jezero, following a scenic and runnable trail through one of Durmitor’s quiet woodland sections.
From Zminje Jezero, the course continues toward Bosača village, where the main aid station is located around kilometer 7. The final part of the race is a mostly downhill section leading runners back toward the finish line at Crno Jezero.
Three Lakes is a short but beautiful trail race, ideal for runners who want to experience Durmitor’s lakes, forest trails, and mountain atmosphere in a compact and accessible format.
